Chromatique
Not the name of a color, but the source of that color contains a specific kind of knowledge. The ochre came from rocks high above Roussillon. The Terre Verte came from the Chemin des Lauves, according to Cézanne. No serious atelier on the Île Saint-Louis was spared from the lampblack that clung to its walls. For ages, the world of the working painter revolved around pigment: its creation, its origins, and the memories it evokes. Within that rationale, the Chromatique collection was born: a set of accessories and artifacts for the tourist who visits France with an eye for detail rather than a passive observer.
