La Chinoiserie Pink Fretwork Paper Party Plate (Set of 8)

The fretwork lattice carried across the face of the plate — interlocking squares and diamonds running edge to edge, no border and no reserve at the centre.

Fretwork is the geometric counterpart to the La Chinoiserie garden. Where the garden plates set a scene, this one sets a structure — stack the two and the lattice reads as the architecture the garden was built on. A pink lattice on olive khaki — an unlikely pair that behaves like an old faded chintz.

Sets of eight. 9″ dinner, 7″ salad or dessert, and a coordinating bowl.
