Noël — Fir with Pinecones Paper Placemat — Teal (Pad of 25)

A fir-and-pinecone wreath laid over tartan, opening at the centre onto a night sky — deep navy, scattered with stars. Green needles, brown cones, branches interlaced like withies, the whole of it in flat colour and heavy outline.

Two patterns that have no business agreeing: a woven evergreen border and a dress tartan running underneath it, held together because both are already red and green. The open centre does the rest — the plate sits in the night sky, and the border frames a setting instead of crowding it.

A tear-away pad: a fresh sheet lifts off for each setting, and the used one goes in the bin. 12″ × 18″, 25 sheets to the pad.
