Description

A whole afternoon on the ice, engraved by Ambroise Tardieu for Les plaisirs de la Glacière: skaters in red and green, a sledge pushed along by its passenger, a gilded sedan chair on runners, and at least one gentleman flat on his back — printed edge to edge, no border, no margin.

The napkin takes you inside the rink, between the fir hedges. The guest towel steps back to the whole view, windmill on the hill and the rink laid out below it, the right way up for a towel that hangs.

Part of Noël · Les Patineurs. Soft absorbent paper, full-color print. Set of 16 in three sizes.

Cocktail for the bar and the drinks tray. Guest Towel for the powder room. Dinner for the table.

Sets with Le Beau Narcisse, L'Aplomb and L'Élan — the three skaters, and now the rink they skate on.
