Each collage in this series began the same way every successful antique hunt does: with a fragment. A torn label, a faded map edge, and a botanical plate pulled from a crumbling album. I assembled these pieces the way I assemble a room—intuitively, with an eye toward tension and quiet. They evoke the feeling of a place before you arrive and the ache of it after you leave.
