Description

The same night sky and the same gold star, held this time inside a braided band — green plaitwork crossing over itself, a red rosette set into every turn.

Where the laurel wreath is a garden device, this one comes off a piece of furniture: the braid is passementerie, the trim you find on a chair back or the edge of a curtain, and the rosettes are where the braid is pinned. It gives the same sky a harder, more upholstered edge.

Available in 9″ dinner and 7″ salad or dessert sizes, with a coordinating bowl. Eight plates.
