Vintage Color Wheel Decorative Pillow
Description
There is a particular discipline to the well-dressed room — the understanding that comfort and beauty are not opposing forces, that a considered textile on a sofa or reading chair communicates as clearly as any painting on the wall. The Vintage Color Wheel cushion cover brings the antique colour science tradition into a domestic format: Moses Harris’s 18th-century prismatic wheel, its twelve graduated hues and aged paper ground, printed across a heavyweight designer textile.
The circular colour diagram maps naturally onto the square cushion format, the wheel centered on the face with the aged cream ground extending to the edges. The warm oxidized tones of the source — the yellows shifted toward gold, the blues cooled and greyed, the reds carrying the dusty rose of old watercolor — give the cushion the quality of a document recovered from a working studio rather than a reproduction from a file. It earns its place in a room that takes colour seriously.
Built from a heavyweight designer textile. Four fabric options at checkout. Six sizes from 12″×12″ to 24″×24″. Cushion pad sold separately. Part of the Colour Theory collection.
