Versailles Lemon Tree Greeting Cards - Set of 8/16/24 Blank Note Cards
Description
Some cards are discarded with the wrapping. Others end up on the mantelpiece, or tucked into the back of a book, or pinned to a wall for reasons the recipient couldn’t entirely explain. The difference is nearly always the design.
The Versailles Lemon Tree card carries a delicate watercolor illustration of a potted lemon tree — the citrus limon grown at Versailles since the time of Louis XIV, when the great orangerie could accommodate three thousand citrus trees through the French winter — rendered in soft washes against a gentle sky. A quiet card for a garden lover or any occasion that deserves some warmth in the envelope. Interior blank, matte finish, envelope included. Packs of 8, 16, or 24.
